… with the help of Red Bull.

What do you do when you wake up and find that you have about as many TikTok followers as you have in Australia?

Jump off a bridge if you are Kris Collins. (AKA @kallmekris)

The Metro Vancouver eatery and TikTok megastar recently hit 25 million followers and gave in to celebrate their followers’ request to honor the milestone by bungee jumping – with the help of Red Bull.

The hilarious content creator drove up the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler Bungee to document the daring leap on her TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram feeds. Footage shows Collins being strapped into a harness while a staff member asks her if she’s ready – “Not from afar,” she replies – before bravely jumping backwards with “one” and plunging towards the river below , “Seagull screeches”. and everything.

@allmekris

Beautifully terrifying experience. Thank you for 25 million!

♬ Original sound – Kris HC About this screeching: “😂 Once you have heard it, you can no longer hear it,” commented Red Bull’s official TikTok account on her post.

The most important milestone for followers is less than a year after the former hairdresser first downloaded the video-sharing app out of boredom during the first coronavirus lockdown. “I observe [TikTok] Sleepless for about three days and then said, “I’m going to start making some videos – maybe I have nothing else to do,” she told Vancouver Is Awesome late last year.

Today Collins is the most visited TikToker in Canada. She is best known for her original hysterical skits, but she is also credited with helping remove the stigma of mental health problems by sharing her own struggles.

“I’m so glad you made your decision [bungee jumping] for me to do because I was most afraid of this one! “she told her followers in an Instagram post.” And that was really the theme of the past year for me; To do things that scare me. I fight and open up about my sanity. to do what I really enjoy; try to entertain you all every day. All I could never do [have] made a year ago. So thank you very much for believing in me and supporting me on this crazy journey! “

This latest challenge is a continuation of Collins’ relationship with the energy drink brand. After posting videos of herself drinking Red Bull during a trip to her inbox last spring, her growing number of followers took it upon themselves to spam the company in their comments to convince the Red Bull to approve sponsor.

Finally, a member of staff held out a hand. Not only is Collins now stocked with “a lifetime supply of Red Bull,” but last fall the company flew her and her boyfriend to the top of a mountain in upstate BC to help her party after she hit the 10th milestone Had reached millions of followers.
