Viral Warzone TikTok reveals Ghost perk is totally damaged proper now
A viral TikTok from Warzone streamer Jessie Cooks caught the attention of many popular gamers when the “broken” ghost perk took them a run during a recent Twitch Rivals event.
Warzone has obviously had its fair share of problems over the past few months. From one lots of hackers to game breaking bugS., it all led to a recent “war” like many of the most popular characters Jumpship to different games.
Now that the growing list of issues joins, one critical flaw is related to the Ghost Perk. On paper, you want Ghost to hide your icon on the minimap. When an opposing team calls a UAV, it is best to stay hidden if Ghost is part of your equipment.
That was not the case with Jessie Cooks on her run last year $ 75K Twitch Rivals Warzone Event; In a TikTok clip that has since gone viral, the streamer showed how Ghost is “broken” in Season 4 of Warzone.

“We died of HusKerrs, JoeWo and Mutex in Twitch Rivals [because] Ghost doesn’t work, ”she announced on July 28th. The clip shows her trio equipping loadouts with Ghost in the Vital Perk 2 slot. Moments later, they were suddenly tracked down by the opposing team.
While they thought their positions were masked, the entire time HusKerrs and his allies knew where they were. Obviously the ghost perk was not working as intended. In fact, the entire benefit has been rendered useless without serving its sole purpose.
As part of a $ 75K tournament, each custom sized lobby was critically important. However, the ghost bug ultimately led to their demise in that particular match.
Even Warzone expert JGOD has gained traction on social media, claiming that the mistake “makes no sense”.
I’m not sure how this would work @Bartonologist something we could test when you have people wanting to find out if it locks the 1st perks and ignores the 2nd loadout considering all of these are in private matches are.

After JGOD went through all of the players’ POVs to investigate the bug, JGOD concluded that the format may have played a role. “Probably a private match bug,” he explained.
Further testing is ongoing to see if the bug spreads to public lobbies. But for now, you might want to swap Ghost out for another perk to make sure you actually get some perks with your loadout.
