TikTok uploads are damaged | Engadget
Many TikTok users are currently unable to post in the app due to a strange problem uploading them to the video app. While the app appears to be functional, many users find that videos are not uploading even though they are displayed on their profiles. Others, including Dave Jorgenson, who runs the popular TikTok account for The Washington Post, have reported that TikTok has informed them that their videos are being “reviewed”.
TikTok confirmed that it was aware of the issues but did not immediately address the cause of the problem or the number of users affected. It seems to be widespread, according to downdetector.com, a website that tracks outages.
“We are aware of an issue that is currently causing some users a delay in posting videos,” tweeted TikTok from its support account. “Our team is actively working on a solution and we will post updates here.”
