For many of us, shaving our legs is just part of life. We spent a lot of money on razors, shaving cream and learned which products would keep our legs smooth and silky the longest, but a new TikTok trend is making us rethink everything. A user named Jules shared a Video She is now dropping the razors after seeing another TikToker talk about her leg hair removal method. And she’s replacing them with … sandpaper.

Sounds a little scary, doesn’t it? But Jules swears by the new method and says it made her skin “so soft”. In her very first TikTok, which has been viewed more than a million times, she says the user she heard about the 600-grit sandpaper on her legs did so too. Jules points out that the secret is to use the sandpaper ten times in a circle, then change direction and go ten times the other way. “And it works,” she says.

As you can imagine, her viral video received thousands of comments and questions that Jules answered and addressed all in one Follow-up video. People wanted to know how long it was going to take and 24 hours later she says she had some stubble but not bad. And there were questions about other parts of the body the sandpaper could be used on, but Jules says she isn’t ready to take the risk on her more intimate areas. “And then the hootie-ha? Yeah, I don’t think I want to do mine, ”she says. “The hair is quite coarse and it may require aggressive rubbing.”
