TikTok consumer’s “haunted home” video goes viral – Is it actual?

TikTok is known for showcasing some of the weirdest trends and bizarre videos out there. However, a video shared by TikTok user Taylor Paul of her “haunted house” caused a lot of confusion among her followers.

Taylor had previously made similar claims when she recently moved into her new home. The video she showed dancing in the living room with moving kitchen lamps was questioned as to its legitimacy. So is Taylor’s house really haunted?

Taylor is a TikTok user and a mother of two. She calls herself @taylorfrankiepaul and uses the platform to share videos about dance, satire and educational content.

Taylor created her account on Tiktok in 2013. She has around 1.7 million followers and her videos have garnered more than 41 million views.

She is now also known on Instagram with more than 98,000 followers. Her account mainly contains her family pictures and highlights on topics like fitness, hair and pregnancy.

As for her personal life, she is married to Tate Paul and the couple share two beautiful children together.

Exploring Haunted House Video

The video in question was posted by Taylor on August 8th. It shows Taylor vacuuming the hallway upstairs when the refrigerator and the door next to it that leads to another room happen to swing open.

At the same time, the lamps in the kitchen start to move and give you goose bumps!

The caption of the video: “The things we would miss if we didn’t have our house cameras 👀 #haunted #scary #hauntedhouse”

Meanwhile she wrote in her video “my house” and “everyone: is your house haunted?”

The clip in which Taylor says her house is haunted soon went viral and garnered over 10 million views!

The truth behind the scary video revealed

The number of likes and views the video collected clearly shows how their followers were convinced that the TikToker house was indeed haunted.

But on August 10, Taylor shared another video to clear up doubts about the previous clip as many asked if it was real. She is seen answering some questions from fans, including her age and one asking if she is a Mormon.

While the caption reads “Don’t take everything so seriously” and the clip shows the question “Is your house really haunted?” Followed by “As far as I know”.

Hence, fans came to the conclusion that Taylor’s house is not haunted and she was just playing a prank on her followers.

Users were quick to react to TikToker allegedly faking the haunted house scene when they learned the truth.

One wrote: “If you’re saying we shouldn’t take things that seriously, then you’re telling us your home isn’t really haunted, right! Cool, thanks.”

And another added, “You should show us more haunted videos”
