The holy grail of makeup products? It has to be mascara.

If there is one makeup product that will bring you back to the land of the living, it is the magic wand. A hit or two will make you look flirty and fabulous. Three or more mean business.

Since mascara is such an important element of a makeup kit, the search for one never ends.

Even if you find an option that could be a long-term commitment, your eyes and ears are always on the alert. There could always be something better and more exciting on the horizon, and new makeup starts every week are all about playing on the field.

While we previously looked closely at magazines and YouTube uploads to get makeup, now it’s all about TikTok. A viral hit in the app can change the course of business for a product or company.

And the newest sense of beauty is mascara that seems to give even the shortest and sparse lashes a boost.

Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara promises to volumize and lengthen every single lash from root to tip for a limitless look.

The mascara costs only 9.99 euros and, according to TikTok, is the new “it” product.

The video that sparked the hype was posted by @ jessica.c.eid, who Maybelline worked with to promote the mascara.

There have been a ton of videos since then focusing on the product. There are currently 1.8 million views on the hashtag.

Judging by the videos and the reaction that came with them, the mascara does what it says on the can. Even very short and thin eyelashes stay full, fluffy and long.

Because of its TikTok fame, the mascara is sold out in America, but luckily for us here in the UK, Superdrug and Boots have it in stock.

And it goes straight into our baskets.
