Undertaker made his “Final Farewell” on the 2020 Survivor Series pay-per-view, and holds by the claim that he has since been retired. He recently did a number of interviews where he said that he is mentally ready to wrestle again, but his body is not.

“I think it’s always on my head and in my heart, especially when I get ready here at the AT&T Stadium on WrestleMania, it’s just like … man. But it’s only at a point where I can’t perform at a level physically, ”he told the Dallas Morning News. “I mean, I could go out and get through something and I could get through a match. But I can’t give people what they’re expecting right now. When you watch Undertaker, you are paying money to see this guy wrestle not physically meet people’s expectations. … The passion is obviously still there. I think that will always be there. It’s just the physical side of it. … My time has come, my time is over. This is WWE and things happen you never know. But I know my time has passed and it is time for these young people to step up and take over and lead us to where we are going. “

Edge returned from retirement at the 2020 Royal Rumble event and has since worked with greats like Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins. He will face The Miz on Pay-per-View Day 1 on New Years Day in Atlanta.
