It’s only for creator profiles

Anyone can become a creator. It’s just an advanced version of TikTok that offers additional features like tracking your analytics, showing your weekly and monthly totals, and getting specific details about your videos’ performance.

It is aimed at content creators looking to get popular on the app and allows you to be part of the TikTok Creator Fund that pays you for videos that get lots of views.

To turn your account into a creator:

  • Open TikTok and click on “Me” in the lower bar to go to your profile.
  • Press the three dots in the upper right corner.
  • Click on “Manage Account”.
  • Tap “Switch to Pro Account”.
