Tatiana Lopez, the brand new Colombian govt at TikTok

The video platform TikTok confirmed the arrival of a new executive for their Hispanic team at the end of October. She is Tatiana Lopez, a Colombian who joins the company as Global Business Solutions Leader for Spanish-speaking countries in South America and will be responsible for managing all Spanish-speaking markets in the region except Mexico.

The new director, who will be based in Miami, will oversee the commercial side of the business in the Spanish-speaking markets of South America, including brand partnerships, customer solutions, business marketing and sales activities. She will also be responsible for working with brands that are looking for regional solutions and opportunities on TikTok.

Tatiana has over 20 years of media, marketing and technology experience. The Colombian worked at Facebook (now Meta) for 11 years and was the company’s first employee in the region, responsible for managing and overseeing the global strategies and partnerships that have driven the exponential growth of the application family. She has also worked in other major tech companies such as MySpace and Hispanic media outlets such as FOX Latin America Channels.

Tatina Lopez reports to the Brazilian Gabriela Comazzetto, Director of Global Business Solutions for Latin America, who leads the region’s strategy in all Latin American countries.
