Milind Deora calls large tech’s self regulation a ‘sham’ amid Twitter’s motion on Trump
Congress leader and MP Milind Deora said social media platforms “Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp are no longer trustworthy when politicians across the spectrum are allowed to spread hate speech, false news and violence”. Milind Deora went on to say that “free hand is not the same as free speech” and that big tech’s self-regulation is a “sham”. He also urged the government to step into the matter.
