tick tock is one of the world’s most popular social media websites, with the app being downloaded over 2 billion times in 2020. However, sometimes one account may not be enough, particularly for content creators who create distinctive forms of content or those who wish to maintain separate work and personal profiles.
Luckily, adding new accounts to TikTok and switching between your different accounts is extremely easy. Here’s everything you need to know about using multiple TikTok accounts.
Switch between TikTok accounts
If you’re already signed into more than one TikTok account, you can easily switch between them. To do this, you need to go to your profile page by clicking on the “me” icon at the bottom right. Once on this page, click on your display name at the top of the screen.
This will open a drop down menu. This menu shows all the accounts you are currently logged into TikTok with. Just tap the name you want to use to go straight there.
Adding a new TikTok account
However, if you want to add a new TikTok account, you need to follow a few additional steps. Go to your profile page again and click on the name at the top of the screen.
This will open the switch account dialog. At the bottom of that menu is an option labeled “Add Account” with a big plus sign next to it. Tapping this option will open a login window. This window gives you several options, including the ability to create a new account using your Twitter or Google logins.
If you already have a second account, scroll to the bottom of the window. You will find a “Already have an account? Sign In” option. Click this option to go directly to a login screen. On this screen, you can log in to the other account using your email address and password. You can also use other services to log into the account. These services include Facebook, Apple, Google, Twitter and Instagram.
Click on the account you want to use and enter your username and password to log into the account. If you want to switch back to the other profile or add more TikTok profiles. You can simply repeat this process. However, TikTok currently only allows simultaneous logins with a maximum of five accounts.
