Ladies Confront Employees After Resort Double Books Room in Viral TikTok

A now viral TikTok captures the moments after a future bride entered a stranger’s suite after her hotel double booked her room.

The first video shows the mother of user Emily or @ emily.squats outside the hotel room talking to a hotel reception on the phone. The video released on Friday has 4.8 million views.

“I just walked into a couple of ladies in their room for whom you just gave me a key,” she says to someone on the other line.

It is unclear where the incident took place. A follow-up video shows representatives from both parties confronting hotel staff below. The woman whose room Emily and her mother entered was apparently asleep when she woke up when someone entered.

“These very nice people just walked into my damn room with a number of 1508. I’m 1508, ”says the other woman. “I’m sleeping in my pajamas and you brought someone who is getting married into my room?”

She continues: “You put a whole family in my room at 11:30 am when I had a guest in the shower?” She also repeatedly demands that the hotel “compensate for everything”, including the room fees for Emily’s party.

The woman also says that at first she thought she was being robbed or kidnapped.

It’s not clear if the hotel ultimately compensated for all of the rooms. While one of the employees initially agrees, he later says that they “currently have no access to the computers”.

However, in the comments section, people thought it was dangerous for a hotel to give two parties the same key. Several people who claimed to have worked in hotels expressed concern about the incident and called it “out of order”. Many people applauded the stranger for standing up for herself and Emily’s family.

“She’s upset with BOTH parties, so respect her,” commented one person.

“This is not Karen,” said another person. “This is a queen handling business.”
