Jennifer Garner Simply Wore the TikTok Teen Pattern That Was Standard When She Was a Teen, Too

Jennifer Garner’s latest look has extreme rich mom energy. Or at least that of a rich mother who has watched TikTok a lot.

Garner stepped up in her standard athleisure: a leggings, a plain t-shirt, a sweater that swooped over her shoulders, and her popular Brooks running sneakers. But she made a little addition that got this outfit into Gen Z-approved territory: she added a pair of leg warmers.

In another case where the younger generation picks up a piece of fashion history and walks with it, gauntlets have taken a certain corner of TikTok by storm. Like wired headphones and crisscross jeans, the 1980s fad now belongs to Generation Z, who often wear it with Doc Martens; If Garner wore them in her own teens, she likely paired them with leggings.

Part of their popularity probably has to do with their price, as leg warmers are extremely affordable – you can buy a pair on Amazon for just $ 9. Another practical reason they are about to explode? The weather, of course. As the colder temperatures approach, they will feel less like an accessory and more like a necessity.

Not to mention that gauntlets are just as suitable after getting up in the house as they are for an errand run. Let’s face it, that’s probably what Garner does into them.
