‘Hateful’ BitChute video website is first check for Ofcom | Information
Ofcom is reported to have a video sharing platform hosting hateful, violent, and anti-Semitic content in its first major test of social media regulation.
BitChute, dubbed YouTube on the far right, hosts numerous videos related to the denial and glorification of the Holocaust. Users can also watch videos on conspiracy theories about the US presidential election, the coronavirus pandemic, and vaccines.
