Crimson Useless On-line Participant Will get TikTok Well-known For Killing KKK Members
A Red Dead Online gamer has become famous on TikTok thanks to his videos that focus on killing KKK members who appear to be “racist gamblers”.
As reported by Kotaku, TikTok user YuhBoi has become known for videos that focus on killing KKK members in extravagant ways, although the legitimacy of the clips is questioned.
In the videos, YuhBois Red Dead Online character finds other players in KKK clothing either standing around and gathering or trying to harass other players. The videos have a remixed song in the background and then show YuhBoi killing players one by one in style in time with the song using weapons like explosive arrows, tomahawks and stealth kills. Each video ends with YuhBoi turning a thumb up toward the camera before promising another video with the same thing.
Currently, YuhBoi has made 16 videos chasing racist Red Dead Online players and has garnered over 3.6 million likes and 134,000 followers since it began in July. Although the main reason the account went viral is because of the KKK killing videos, YuhBoi also has several other TikToks running, such as videos describing some of the weird things he saw on Red Dead Online.
Kotaku writer Zack Zwiezen took a close look at the whole situation and wrote an article explaining the trend and how it got so popular. However, Zack also thinks that the vast majority of the videos are staged and says: “In all the hours that I’ve played the game, I’ve never seen anything like this that can be seen in the video. Instead, there are often so-called KKK comfortably next to explosive barrels or threatening cliffs that can provide cinematic moments while Yuhboi kills them. It’s a little too practical on several fronts. ”
Zack concludes that YuhBoi uses mods to create the situations you see in the videos, which is why the user never seems to run out of KKK members to hunt and kill them. Rockstar previously removed exploits that brought KKK members into Red Dead Online, so the whole situation seems a little strange. With the videos growing in popularity, regardless of their legitimacy, it’s unlikely to stop anytime soon.
