Chipotle accepting TikTok resumes to fill 15,00zero jobs nationwide | KLRT

HOUSTON (KIAH) – Have you ever thought that your TikTok account could get you a job? Now it can.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking 15,000 new team members nationwide. The company’s second Coast to Coast Career Day will take place on Thursday, July 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and then again from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Chipotle is one of the first brands to use TikTok to grow their workforce and meet applicants where they are at a time when hiring isn’t always easy.

Chipotle is raising prices after pledging to pay its employees more

TikTok resumes allow applicants to present themselves in unique and non-traditional ways, the company said in a press release. Applicants must use #TikTokResumes in their caption when they post their video resume and they can apply for Chipotle positions until July 31st.

Applicants hired at Chipotle have access to the following benefits, according to Chipotle:

  • Recently beginner crew wages increased from $ 11 to $ 18 an hour with an average wage of $ 15 an hour
  • Career opportunities, such as becoming a restaurateur with an average six-figure salary, in just three and a half years
  • A crew loyalty program that enables restaurant employees to earn an additional monthly salary each year for meeting certain performance criteria
  • The opportunity to earn a debt-free degree from leading nonprofit accredited universities in partnership with Guild Education after 120 days of employment
  • Access to mental health care whether or not the employee is on the company’s health insurance plan
  • A 401,000 retirement plan, including a company match of 100% on the first 3% of compensation an employee brings in and 50% on the next 2% after one year of employment
