Westfield creates 4000sq ft pop up store up devoted to TikTok

THAT WHAT? According to a report by The Drum, Westfield London created a 4,000-square-foot pop-up shop for the TikTok social media platform.

THE DETAILS The store called For You is described as a “unique IRL experience” and extends over two floors and four rooms.

The pop-up runs from July 22nd to August 8th and features family, food, fashion and consumer trends created on the TikTok platform by creatives from across the UK. These include Kyle Thomas, Ehiz Ufuah, Poppy O’Toole, Jeremy Lynch, and Ben Black.

The four rooms are The Living Room, The Kitchen, The Garden and The Dressing Room which host beauty, fashion and transformation challenges.

WHY? The pop-up merges the boundaries between digital and physical spaces, with the shopping center aiming to boost visitor frequency after the pandemic.

Holly Harrison, Fashion and Retail Brand Partnerships, TikTok said, “Creators are at the heart of the TikTok experience and celebrating them in real life with this incredible activation at Westfield London is a unique opportunity for our community to see the For You Feed come to life.

“The experience of video and retail are becoming more and more interlinked and to be able to bring TikTok to life together with Westfield London was a challenge that our team was pleased with.”
