Tremendous Bowl shanty: TikTok creator shares his subsequent hit
TAMPA, Fla. – You never know what people will fall in love with on TikTok. Right now, users have come on board with one of the most random trends to date, Sea Shanties.
Yes, the 200 year old sea shanties are making a comeback in the music app. People all over the world have created and duetted shanties, resulting in millions of views.
A TikTok developer recently mixed up three of our favorite things: Music, Bucs, and Super Bowl.
Blake Rouse is a Colorado songwriter who regularly publishes music videos. He’s been on TikTok for about a year and has gained more than 240,000 followers.
A couple of months Rouse wrote two songs for the “Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical”. The show was written entirely by users on TikTok and then produced online as a fundraiser for the Actors Fund. Rouse and his other writers raised $ 1 million for artists in need.
Josh Sidorowicz and Natalie Ferrari spoke to Rouse about how he wrote the Super Bowl tune, his love for shanties, and his plans for the future.
