TikTok video exhibits terrifying moments throughout a standoff inside a Fort Myers McDonald’s

FORT MYERS

WINK News gives you a glimpse into the mayhem at a McDonald’s during a standoff earlier this year.

Inside Edition got their hands on a video from TikTok that shows what employees and customers went through when an armed man barricaded himself inside for hours.

“Oh my God!” You can hear the fear of the people at McDonald’s during the standoff.

The video shows the moment the police enter the building to arrest the suspect. “Drop the gun. Out, out. Let me see your hands. Drop your hands.”

Staff huddled in the kitchen corner while police worked to bring the October stalemate to a peaceful end.

Lee County MPs said it all started when 41-year-old Marlon Illescas shot the Fort Myers police force.

Then he went to McDonald’s on Palm Beach Boulevard.

“He’s in the bathroom. He’s in the bathroom.”

During the terrible moments, staff and others hid and told each other that it will be okay.

When the police gave them the all-clear, they were able to flee.

The TikTok documented the moment they were escorted out of the building. “Go this way. Hurry. Come on, come here. “

Illescas faces seven cases of serious assault against an officer.
