Business Insider SA has compiled a list of the 10 best TikTok creators in South Africa for 2021, ranking the creators with the most to the fewest followers. First and foremost is Wian ‘the magician’ van den Berg, who became a magician at the age of 15 and later refined his talents into the TikTok sensation that he is.

With a fan base of 15.7 million and 276.8 million likes, the creator says the majority of its fan base is based in the United States. His most viewed post this year had 45.7 million views and 2.8 million likes.

This creator ranks fifth with 3.6 million followers.

His popular highest-liked video is likely to do with many South African school kids struggling to do their homework but being distracted by their phones. Witney Ramabulana 2.5 million followers ranks seventh and also has her own page created by a fan @ witney8fan.page. The star’s very first TikTok had 9,077 views, with their video views ranging in the hundreds of thousands to billions.

Some of their videos are shown with friends and family using favorite local music in their videos.

Sphokuhle.n is in eighth place with 2.6 million. The 20-year-old sensation can be seen recreating videos on some of the hottest audios and songs of 2021.

The creator choreographed “Caught a Vibe,” a Willow Smith song that seems to have taken the internet by storm. The song has been reused over 2.1 million times.
