TikTok is reportedly testing a Repost possibility for sharing movies

According to a report by TechCrunch on Tuesday, TikTok is testing a new way for users to share videos with their followers via a repost button. The button is similar to Twitter’s retweet feature, which allows people to share a clip, which will then appear on their friends’ For You pages (or their home page feeds).
The repost button supposedly appears under the share arrow in the right area of the screen, where you can already send TikTok videos directly to friends or post them on social media. The newly posted videos will not appear on your TikTok profile. Instead, they’ll only show up on your friends’ feeds, says TechCrunch.

A TikTok representative told CNET, “We’re always thinking of new ways to add value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience. We’re currently experimenting with a new way for people to share TikTok videos they like. “
The Repost option only shows up when you come across a video on your For You page, notes TechCrunch. That means it won’t show up if you find a video on the Discover page or in a message in your TikTok inbox.
