Remaining TikTok reveals lead as much as teenagers loss of life

A haunting TikTok video reportedly depicts the final moments of a 16-year-old girl’s life.

Mother April Smith told Fox5 that her daughter Kalecia Williams, 16, made a dance video for TikTok from the Hyatt Regency Hotel on December 26 at 12:02 p.m.

Just a few minutes later, at 12:27 p.m., Kalecia was discovered unconscious in the hotel lobby.

Kalecia was shot in the groin and taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

In the last TikTok video, the 16-year-old is seen dancing in the hotel room. However, she appears shocked when someone enters her room and the video ends abruptly.

“What happened after she made the last Tik Tok video at 12:02 pm and when she was dead at 12:23 pm? I need answers,” Ms. Smith told Fox5.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and charged, among other things, with murder and aggravated assault related to Kalecia’s death, the Atlanta Journal’s Constitution reported.

Despite the arrest, Kalecia’s family still wants answers.

“It’s just been a lot of foul play and I’m trying to put all the pieces together because I don’t feel like the system is doing enough to help me,” said Ms. Smith.

The mother was not contacted until the next morning, eight hours later, about her daughter’s death, and she hopes the surveillance footage will provide more information about what happened the night of the shooting.

Kanautica Starkie, a witness who held Kalecia’s hand before paramedics arrived, said she saw two men come out of the elevator holding a girl who said she had been shot.

Ms. Starkie videotaped paramedics resuscitating Kalecia on the lobby floor. However, the video only raised further questions from the 16-year-old’s family.

“The young girl said they moved my daughter’s body because of the blood, but when we watched the video of the South Carolina woman there was no blood,” Kalecia’s stepfather Ronney Savoy told Fox5.

The story goes on

The family continued to protest outside the hotel where she was killed, demanding answers about her death.
