TikTok user Devhlanger first shared the shocking footage on the social media platform on August 22nd.

Days later, Devhlanger published a compilation of the recorded videos and titled it: “Here is the alligator eating the drone combined. George is fine and still looked hungry.”

“We tried to take a close-up of the alligator with our mouths open and thought that avoiding obstacles would make the drone fly away,” wrote the TikTok user in the text in the appendix to the video and added: “Was only used the second time Spark.”

Obstacle Avoidance is a drone feature that causes the drone to move around objects without being prompted to do so.

As the drone hovered over the large reptile, someone can be heard asking if the alligator thinks the drone is food.

Seconds later, the alligator caught the drone in its mouth – causing viewers to scream.

Someone said, “Oh my god he’s eating it!” when another asked, “What are you doing George?”

As smoke surrounds the alligator, another person is heard saying, “Don’t eat this. George, no!”

Despite her requests, the alligator continued to chew on the unmanned aerial vehicle.

More and more smoke billowed into the air, but the alligator was determined to finish its apparently not-so-tasty meal.

Fortunately, the TikTok user claimed that the alligator was “fine” and apparently still hungry after the surprise incident.
