The Australians are now recreating the unusual mash-up dubbed “McBassett”, inspired by the South Korean coffee house chain Paul Bassett.
Adrian, from Sydney, shared a TikTok video of placing a soft serve in a frozen latte after ordering the menu items at the fast food restaurant.

“So I’ve seen this go viral in Korea and Malaysia. I thought I would try. It’s basically an ice cream latte and a soft ice cream – and it’s so good, ”he said on the TikTok video.
“It is a must to try the McDonald’s Hack.”
Adrian said he “messed up a bit” when pairing the products, but was pleasantly surprised at the end result.
His video has been viewed more than 55,000 times since then, and many say they are dying to try the dessert for themselves.
“Another Macca hack … you made me get up and go to Macca to try,” one wrote while another added, “Oh my god, this is genius.”
